Peake Academy has been a leading provider of early childhood education for 15 years. You can trust our teaching team has put their years of experience into developing this digital preschool environment.
Our Peake Academy Digital Preschool program was created for times when a child and teacher cannot meet in a traditional classroom setting. Our Virtual Classroom provides a quality early childhood educational experience as the learning continues at home.
We hope that parents can partner with children in participation of these activities; however, they are designed with today's busy parents in mind.
Some will include learning with devices and technology, while others do not; similar to the student experience during a typical school day. We recognize that these activities do not replace classroom instruction. Though this is a great option to enhance a child's early childhood education or utilize when the traditional school day is not an option for a family.
WAYS TO HELP KEEP YOUR CHILD ON TRACK
1. Focus on Key Skills
We have chosen a set number resources that connect you to videos, activities, and more to support learning at home. Too many is overwhelming. Focus on what you think your child needs most during the time at home. Do not feel like you have to do it all.
2. Keep a Routine
Create a daily schedule with your child that includes math and reading as well as choice activities such as drawing, building, or dancing. It doesn’t have to be perfect so don’t stress.
3. Take Breaks Throughout the Day
We purposely scheduled 30 minutes knowing the activity or video was much shorter. Children need time to get up, move, and wiggle in between activities. There will ale be times when a much longer break is needed.
Play cards, cook a new or favorite recipe, make up silly songs, look at old family photos and write a story about them. Your child will be learning and having fun!
4. Stay Connected
Stay in touch with teachers, classroom friends, and other parents. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
5. Enjoy This Family Time
This is well spent time together and can be a wonderful way to enjoy the learning process.

We will provide links to each topic each day. Links, printouts, videos, etc. will make up the key areas of the schedule. You can piece together a schedule that best meets the needs of your day.

The Peake Academy Digital Preschool Program can provide a half day or full day structure of learning. It can be used daily or which ever days of the week fit best with your schedule.
Each week will have a different theme with 8-10 areas of learning to choose from as you put together your child's day. There will be 4 video learning activities daily and links to quality learning opportunities to complete the areas of learning.
